Clark College (Culinary Arts - Cooking / Restaurant Management / Professional Baking)
The cooking program provides basic training to pursue a career in the restaurant industry. The curriculum teaches technical skills in cooking preparation and the operation of commercial cooking equipment. You will become familiar with the layout and workflow of a commercial kitchen while developing a sense of professionalism necessary to be successful in the restaurant industry.
The professional baking program combines classroom theory with hands-on experience preparing baked goods in the College's modern bakery facility. The theory component of the program is designed to give you the basic theoretical understanding of baking.
Clark's Baking Lab is operated as a simulated retail bakery, giving you practical, hands-on experience in baking fundamentals in five specialized areas.
