Auburn University (Foods & Nutrition Studies)
The Department of Nutrition and Food Science (NUFS) offers both undergraduate and graduate degrees.
Undergraduate programs are available in Nutrition/Dietetics, Nutrition Science, and Food Science, and Hotel and Restaurant Management. All majors take a core of courses that include physical and biological sciences, as well as liberal arts and humanities, providing graduates with a strong educational foundation and excellent career preparation.
NUFS offers graduate study leading to a Master of Science (M.S.) degree, with an emphasis in Food Science, Nutrition, and Hotel and Restaurant Management.
A Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) degree in Nutrition and Food Science with an emphasis in Nutrition, Food Science, or Hotel and Restaurant Management is also offered through NUFS.
