College of Lake County (Food Service)

The Food Service Management program at CLC offers students one degree and three certificates depending on their long-term goals.

The Associate in Applied Science degree (Plan 22FB) in Food Service Management offers students the opportunity to gain enough skills and knowledge to find a job in the food service field upon graduation.

The Food Service Management certificate (Plan 22FG), the Culinary Arts certificate (Plan 22FH) and the Professional Cook certificate (Plan 22FD) provide opportunities for interested students to gain skills in a short time and also allow those already working in the industry to upgrade their skills.

Complete descriptions of these programs along with requirements for completing these degrees and certificates are found in the CLC catalog. (Click on the CLC Catalog link below and select Associate in Applied Science and Career Certificates.)
