Cooking Classes
The saying goes something like this: "Give a person a fish; you've fed them for today. Teach them to fish; and you've fed them for a lifetime"

Maybe it's the chef in me (or just my weird view of the world), but I always wondered who would teach them how to cook that fish?

With silliness aside, the saying sums up my philosophy about teaching cooking. The biggest drawback to many cooking classes, in my view, is that they teach recipes, but not technique. I'm a strong believer in learning how to cook - not how to follow or reproduce a single recipe. Where's the fun in that?

So in cooking classes taught at the Dinner is Served kitchen we focus on knife skills and cooking skills. And funnily enough, by the end of the evening you'll actually have cooked something that's good enough to eat. You'll be able to cook it at home, and best of all, you'll have the confidence to apply what you learned to cooking other foods and maybe even creating a recipe of your own. Now that's what I call cookin' with gas!

Our classes our limited to 8 people, so please register early to avoid being locked out. Ask about a multiple classes discount if you plan to sign up for more than one class.
