James Rumsey Technical Institute (Culinary Arts Program)

The Culinary Arts program prepares the student for entry level employment by combining both supervised lab activities and classroom instruction. Students who complete the forty week Culinary Arts Program will have acquired a comprehensive yet basic culinary education enabling them to meet the needs of industry for professionally-trained, qualified personnel.

An articulation agreement exists between James Rumsey Technical Institute and Blue Ridge Community and Technical College.

* Thirty (30) hours of college credit may be awarded through Blue Ridge Community and Technical College dual enrollment.
* Twenty four (24) hours of elective credit may be awarded at Mountain State University.
