Keene State College (Dietetic Internship Program)

Keene State's dietetic internship program is an innovative wellness-focused program that provides a generalist dietetics experience while offering the intern an individualized program and a flexible schedule.

Our dietetic internship is one of the few wellness-focused programs in the country. In addition to gaining clinical and management experiences, interns will also focus on providing health promotion and wellness education in the community.

Our interns work with clients in all phases of the life cycle in a variety of community organizations, gaining experience planning, developing, and implementing health promotion and disease prevention programs that support community wellness. Examples of rotations our interns have chosen include placements in school districts, senior centers, food coops, weight-loss groups, health clubs, college nutrition classes, Headstart programs, Cooperative Extension, daycares, and many others.
