Kent State University (Hospitality Management)

The Bachelor of Science degree program prepares students for management careers in the hospitality industry.

Graduates look forward to well-compensated positions in the industry as managers in restaurants, hotels, conference centers, country clubs, and other hospitality venues.
The Hospitality Management curriculum combines specialty classes in hospitality management and business management coursework.

The Hospitality Management program at Kent State University is one of only two programs in the state of Ohio to be accredited by the Accreditations Commission for Programs in vHospitalityv Administration (ACPHA). This underscores the high quality of the program.

The program enjoys close working relationships with an active industry advisory board and other industry supporters. Hospitality industry leaders support the program through scholarships, guest lectures in the classroom, internships, and job placement. Students have the opportunity to be involved in organizations and clubs such as Kent State University's chapter of Club Managers Association of America and Professional Convention Management Association, and the Ice Carving Club to enhance classroom and lab educational experiences.
