North Carolina Central University (Hospitality and Tourism)
The Hospitality and Tourism Administration program was started in the University’s Department of Human Sciences in 1998. In 2000, the Program was moved to the School of Business. The Hospitality and Tourism Administration Program was accredited by the Association of Collegiate Business Schools and Programs (ACBSP) in May 2007. In addition to holding ACBSP accreditation, the School of Business is also accredited by the Association of Advanced Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB). The School operates under a Professional School model and the Hospitality and Tourism program operates within the scope of all administrative procedures and policies of the School.
The Hospitality and Tourism Administration program focuses on preparing students for entry level management positions in Hospitality and Tourism. The Bachelor of Science degree is a 128-semester hour professional management program requiring 1000 hours of work experience and 130 hours of community service for graduation.
