Northeast Texas Community College (Culinary Arts)

This course provides the fundamental principles of food preparation and cookery to include cooking techniques, presentations, and professionalism. Chef Charles will provide instruction and guidance to preparing that special meal while explaining and demonstrating skills in knife, tool and equipment handling, and operate equipment safely and correctly; produce a variety of food products applying principles of food handling and preparation; and implement professional standards in food preparation.
