Treat your kids to the re-emerging lost art of cooking and they will find out just how much fun it is to learn from in-home chef, Michelle Silver. At Silver Table Cooking our Kid’s Classes are competitively priced and offer a terrific value with cooking classes that last a full five hours.
This sets Silver Table Cooking apart from other cooking schools. In our five hour time frame kids learn basic cooking along with other advanced culinary skills in a hands on setting that emphasizes teamwork and nutritional concepts.
Kids receive their own packet of Silver Table recipes to take home. The extended length of time also allows for the learning of kitchen safety and even a fun time at the end of class to eat all the food that has been created with parents invited. All this in a beautiful in-home setting that features a spaciously remodeled kitchen.
Silver Table Cooking also offers exciting single-week Summer Cooking Camps for Kids. Camp times are 10:00am – 3:00pm and feature a variety of themes allowing campers the opportunity to expand their knowledge of food preparation and presentation. Silver Table Cooking Camps also include a local field trip as well as additional activities that enhance the culinary experience.
All Silver Table Cooking classes are taught by Michelle Silver who packs loads of essential instruction into her lessons along with a heaping helping of fun, laughter, and music. Students enjoy her infectious personality while they discover the secrets of how to prepare great tasting food. Chef Michelle has appeared on the local television show, KCTS Cooks' to rave reviews and spending an afternoon in her kitchen gives kids the wonderful feeling of accomplishment and high self-esteem.
