Soy NYC Japanese Cooking Classes

Class fees include materials and lunch we cook together. To register, please call us at (212) 253-1158 during our business hours, Monday to Friday Noon to 10.30pm, or Saturday 5pm-10.30pm (Eastern Soy Time), or stop by and register in person. You can also email us. All classes are limited to 6 people since our kitchen is small. It's a hands-on, intimate and practical cooking class. Full payment of class fee is required to reserve you seat. All registrations final. There'll be no refund for cancellation.

***Basic Japanese Home Cooking***
Saturday, July 14th, 11:30 pm - 2:00 pm
Fee: $55

Learn basics of Japanese home cooking, such as how to cook rice, making dashi (soup stock) and miso soup, about seasonings and handling of common Japanese food products. We'll prepare a simple but savory traditional style meal with fish and vegetables.

***SOY Cooking for Clueless***

Fee: $50

Cooking with soy food can be absolutely effortless. We'll teach you basics about all kinds of tofu and other soy food products, and show you tricks & shortcuts for great soy dishes.

***Sushi Master***
Saturday, June 30th, 11:30 pm-2:00 pm
Fee: $60

Learn how to cook sushi rice, prepare ingredients, and make your own sushi rolls. California rolls, tuna rolls, hand rolls, or veggie rolls of your choice- Then go home and make more to impress your friends!
