As a growing field within the industry, many restaurants are interested in open specialized serving food establishments; so to speak, they will look for those who are specialized in a style of food paying more for it. Of course, this will depend on the needs and the geographical location.

Some required courses include: Kitchen settings and preparation, Principles of Cuisine and Cooking, Pastry Essentials, etc.

Proving the students the know-how of working in the kitchen, they will develop different skills including: problem solving, catering, interpersonal, food preparation, planning and organizational skills.
