Competitive Grants

In addition to the student's Pell Grant award, this program has been recently created for those who have finished school after January 1, 2005.

In order to get an Academic Competitiveness Grant you must:
Have been an eligible student for a Federal Pell Grant.
Completed an accurate high school accredited by a state or local education agency.
In the first year ACG confers $750 and then, in the second year affords $1,300 for full-time students. Also, during the second year you must preserve the grade point average (GPA) of at least 3.0.
