Culinary Arts
Instruction is provided in a commercial kitchen in restaurant operations: buffet and catering; garde manager; soups, stocks and sauces; basic and advanced baking; purchasing cost control; and hospitality management. The cuisine presented is both American Regional and International. Students can obtain industry standard certificates through the National Restaurant Association in Sanitation and Hygiene. Advanced placement and college credit can be earned for both apprenticeship and college degree programs in chef preparation, baking and restaurant management.
