Danish cuisine

Danish dish

Product of its great climate, the Danish cuisine has the coolest products like barley, potatoes, rye, beetroot, greens, berries, mushrooms, and many more. It is also influenced and shared with the Scandinavian cuisine.

Because many of its people are dedicated to the agriculture, they produce their own food which is basically: cereal products, dairy products, pork, seafood, apples, plums, carrots, potatoes, onions, beer, and bread.

Most of their traditional recipes are based on fresh fruits, vegetables and seasonally available foods; besides, due to its geography have been always hard to get more products from other areas; helping Danish people to preserve its eating habits.

Through the time, these habits have been changing, and the introduction of stoves, refrigerators, and freezers have changed their food preparation and it has now the French, American, Asian and Thai cuisines influence.
