   Zest: the light colour and thin layer of citrus fruit's peel very useful for its essential and aromatic oils in both sweet and salty dishes.

   Zucchini: also known as Courgettes. It is a summer squash of yellow or green colour, tender flesh and shape of tube. It is very useful when it is a baby because also its blossoms flowers are used in pasta sauces.

   Zahtar: spice blend made of sesame seeds, powdered sumac and dried thyme which is used over meats, vegetables and bread.

   Zakuska: Russian dish which include many foods like such blinis, caviar, anchovies, cheeses, fish, oysters pastries and accompanied by ice-cold vodka.

   Zombie: cocktail made of two types of rum and three types of fruit juices which is served over crushed ice.

   Zuccotto: Italian dessert made of liqueur cake filled with whipped sweet cream, grated chocolate and chopped nuts.

   Zwieback: also known as Rush. It is German bread that is twice baked. Once the bread is bake, it is cut in slices and baked again to get crispy and dried.
